Autumn. A reminder to let things fall where they may
Hi October.
Welcome to my favorite month and season of the whole year. Fall is officially in full swing, the weather is cooling off, the leaves are changing colors and our fireplace is ready to be in use! This month holds a lot of good memories in my heart, Brandon and I will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary. I always love the season change October brings, shifting my mindset to allowing things to just be. Typically I look forward to slowing down with fall after a busy long summer but this summer set the tone a bit differently, it was definitely a slower paced summer allowing for me to ease into Fall a little nicer this year. I always have a lot of my agenda this time of year with all the activities going on and now new traditions with Callan but sort of like the last couple months I am really allowing myself to just be, to let things fall where they may.
Things to celebrate this month:
14 Our Anniversary
31 Halloween
Just for fun:
4 National cinnamon roll day
*I dont need an excuse to go but here is one now to go get a roll from Rolls by the Pound*
6 National noodle day
16 Sweetest Day
17 National Pasta Day
26 National Pumpkin Day
Local:
Granville Barn Hop
*truly a favorite of mine to snag some great vintage pieces and get inspired*
Trick Or Treat
My October agenda is looking a lot like this...
- check in with myself.. with 3 months left of 2021 I want to make sure I am on track with hitting goals and setting new realistic ones
- making and enjoying mulled wine
- going on a fall hike
- doing all the fall / halloween activities *list some*
- making chili
- vintage shopping
- carve pumpkins
Inspo for the month
With the leaves changing color, falling and crunching beneath my feet this season and month brings change.
xx.
